Your objection can close an application

Your objection can block an application from being approved by the regulator. An offset objected to this application and forced the applicant to withdraw it. A well thought out application doesn't always get approved by the AER.

An applicant can always try to push the issue, but if the objector insists, the AER will call a hearing. The cost of an AER hearing could be over $1 million for each party by the time all outside counsel and expert witnesses have been prepped and testified.
